Newmarket Hotel.

Unita partnered with ALH Group and Cayas & Ward to transform the Newmarket Hotel, delivering a large-scale hospitality upgrade designed to celebrate the biggest moments on the sporting calendar. With works scheduled to run directly through the AFL and NRL grand finals, timing was critical, and ensuring the new sports bar was fully operational for those events was a priority from day one.

This hospitality fitout stood out not only for its size, but for the trust and collaboration built between everyone involved. Unita’s team identified opportunities to create efficiency throughout delivery, balancing budget requirements with high expectations around realising design intent. Towards the final stages, pre-existing water damage issues were uncovered, and Unita worked side-by-side with ALH to manage the remediation process and help with documentation to support insurance claims.

Unita’s role extended across every phase of delivery, from value engineering and cost planning, through to construction and joinery created in our own local manufacturing facility. The original 14-week program was achieved on time and on budget, with additional remediation works undertaken without compromising the client’s operational priorities.
