Senior Estimator

Sydney

To be successful as a Senior Estimator you will:

  • Be adept at managing and overseeing the delivery of various tender opportunities and or cost plans.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years estimation experience within Retail and Hospitality sectors; on projects ranging from $200k – $5 mill.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, including understanding plans, various documentation – as well as strong written and presentation skills with proficiency with technology.
  • Be a confident communicator who can share your knowledge and expertise in a way that demonstrates value to our clients and prospects.
  • Work as a team player to build positive trusted relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, colleagues and leadership.
  • Be open to mentoring, learning and ongoing personal and professional development.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and assessing tenders, ensuring all tender documents are complete and correct
  • Adhering to strict timelines and plans that ensure key milestones are met each week
  • Developing a thorough understanding of each project and sourcing Subcontractors and Suppliers with a high level of capability and compliance as needed
  • Partnering closely with our Relationship Managers (BDMs) throughout the tender process to ensure success
  • Collaborating with our construction team from the beginning of the process, to ensure we are estimating the best possible build to deliver the client’s outcome to budget
  • Approving various purchase orders on projects you estimate to ensure cost control is managed throughout the project
  • Working closely and or lead other Estimators, Project Managers and team for best possible outcomes
  • Conducting status review meetings with the project team as required as well as participating in post project debriefs to ensure continued growth and development of our team
  • Utilising our proprietary software – Orbis – throughout the delivery of any project
  • Following our processes for best outcomes and a positive team environment.

Set Out Operator

Brisbane

As a Pytha Operator, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Produce detailed, precise working drawings.
  • Supply cut lists and export to CNC from architectural drawings using the 3D CAD system PYTHA.
  • Liaise with the factory foreman ensuring clear directions and information are provided on all jobs
  • Interpretation of designers and architectural drawings while liaising with Clients, Estimators, Project Managers, Sub Trades and material Suppliers all within budgetary and time frame schedule.
  • Ensure all materials ordered are correct quantities and meet client specifications

Qualifications & Technical Skills required:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role in commercial joinery/shopfitting
  • A high level of computer skills, preferably Pytha, Analyzer, Enroute.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, to achieve on time delivery to budget
  • The ability to foresee roadblocks, troubleshoot and manage issues as they arise
  • The competence and confidence to work with a large team of tradespeople
  • The skill to maintain team and client relationships at the highest level, at all times

We are an energetic and ambitious business with a dynamic team – and due to continued growth, are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join our Brisbane team at our Head Office in Woolloongabba.  This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leaders, with cutting edge technologies that will revolutionise the market.

As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of multiple projects running simultaneously from pre-construction through to final handover
  • Working closely with all stakeholders and team members to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Delivering your project(s) to the highest standard of client satisfaction and quality, on time and on budget
  • Conducting status review meetings with team member and clients
  • Weekly reporting on all project financials
  • Utilising our transparent inhouse software throughout the delivery of all projects

  • 5+ years Project Management experience in fitout and construction across the Retail/Hospitality sector
  • Experience managing the quality and timely delivery of projects ranging from $200,000 – $2M+ in value
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal and written communication
  • The ability to foresee roadblocks, successfully troubleshoot and manage issues as they arise
  • An entrepreneurial and collaborative approach to providing solutions that deliver amazing results for clients and for our business.
  • Solid stakeholder management experience ranging from internal team members, leadership, partner brands, trades, project site teams and the client
