Unita is delivering a major refurbishment of Flagstaff Gardens Hotel, repositioning the established Melbourne CBD property with a more contemporary guest experience.

Two initial mock-up rooms gave Gold Quest Properties the opportunity to see our craftsmanship in practice and get a feel for how we work, before engaging Unita for the wider refurbishment.

The project involves a complete strip-out and refit of all guest rooms and bathrooms, with new flooring, lighting, finishes and locally- and internationally-produced joinery.

Works also include a new gym, restaurant and lobby, as well as external cladding and rooftop repairs.

With an extensive scope and ambitious programme, careful planning has been critical.

The hotel has remained operational throughout construction, requiring works to be extensively staged and sequenced to minimise disruption to guests and hotel operations.
