The transformation of Springwood Hotel demonstrates how an established venue can be repositioned through a staged refurbishment while remaining open for business. Delivered across three carefully-planned stages, this project balanced construction activity with ongoing operations to minimise disruption for patrons and staff.

Working alongside Cayas + Ward, Unita delivered a comprehensive refurbishment that included a new family-focused bistro, the Patriots Sports Bar, an upgraded gaming room and new structural entry awnings with feature lighting and signage. Interactive digital displays and integrated technology were incorporated throughout the venue, creating a more engaging entertainment experience, while the bistro was reimagined with dedicated family spaces and children’s play areas to strengthen its appeal as a local destination.

The completed venue blends contemporary hospitality design with operational functionality, demonstrating Unita’s expertise in delivering complex live-environment refurbishments that enhance the customer experience and long-term commercial performance.
