Unita delivered four high-end hospitality venues within the Queen’s Wharf precinct: Pompette, Black Hide, HUA and Dark Shepherd. Each venue was conceived as an ultra-premium dining experience, designed and built to world-class standards.

A detailed view of a luxurious restaurant dining area decorated with ornate wallpaper. The walls feature a beautiful, light mint green or sage green wallpaper with a detailed chinoiserie pattern of flowering trees, birds, and insects, including a large peacock. The walls are segmented by dark vertical and horizontal beams. Small, square tables with dark marble tops are set for dining with crisp white teacups and folded gray napkins. The tables are surrounded by soft, upholstered chairs in coordinating shades of gray and pale teal. A vertical, brass wall sconce provides warm lighting between the wall panels.

Delivering multiple restaurants concurrently inside one of Australia’s most complex CBD mega-developments demanded exceptional coordination and precision programming. With dozens of contractors working in a tightly controlled environment, every sequence, interface, and decision required discipline and accuracy.

Our team navigated CFMEU-controlled access requirements, complex base-build interfaces, offshore joinery production, and the delivery of intricate kitchens, bars, services, and architectural detailing tailored to each venue’s identity. Staged handovers were timed to match operator readiness and broader precinct approvals.

These hospitality fitouts now set a new benchmark for premium dining in Brisbane, demonstrating UNITA’s capability to deliver highly technical, detail-driven hospitality projects under stringent operational, industrial, and program constraints.

Above the tables hang several brass or gold-toned contemporary chandeliers shaped like branching candelabras. In the background, large floor-to-ceiling windows with black frames look out onto an outdoor area where people and greenery are visible.
