Cosy Del’s had outgrown its existing space, and it was our mission to create a seamless expansion by incorporating the neighbouring tenancy. The challenge in this hospitality fitout was to preserve the charm of the original while infusing it with fresh energy and new possibilities.

Taking inspiration from the intimate, rustic aesthetic Del’s is known for the new space is full of warmth; exposed brick, deep timbers and plush booth seating surround the relocated kitchen, allowing guests to watch all the culinary theatrics while sipping on a delicious glass of red.

One of our favourite features is the ingenious secret door that connects the old and new spaces; disguised as shelving for their extensive collection of wines. Having transformed the former space into an inviting additional seating area, the door offers flexibility, ensuring that the space retains its cosy and intimate ambiance while also accommodating the venue’s increasing popularity.
