Tingalpa Hotel.

Location
Queensland

Date Completed
July 2017

From the outside, The Tingalpa Hotel might look like your typical suburban pub.

A close-up, shallow depth-of-field photograph focusing on the detailed construction of a vertical wooden support column. The column is made of light-colored wood blocks joined together, with visible metal connecting plates and four exposed, shiny silver bolt heads recessed into circular holes. The background is softly blurred, showing an out-of-focus, drum-shaped pendant light fixture with an orange-yellow glow against a dark blue wall.
A close-up shows three glass decorative vases sitting on a light-colored wooden shelf, framed by two vertical wood panels. The largest vase is clear with a textured honeycomb pattern, flanked by a medium-sized dark blue ribbed vase and a small, smooth teal glass orb.

However, take a step inside and you’ll be surprised to discover a spacious modern bar and restaurant. The redesign of the bistro, gaming room and function rooms was the vision of the client – the Hakfoort Group – with the refurbishment completed by Unita as the building partner in collaboration with the chosen designer. This hotel fitout was delivered on time and on budget the client complimented the team’s workmanship and professionalism – particularly given the build  was completed in an occupied trading environment.
