Working with Collectivus, the brief centred on sustainability and adaptive reuse: building smarter, not bigger, and transforming what already existed rather than starting from scratch.

To merge the two halves of the existing building into a single cohesive office fitout, Unita cut an opening through the middle of the structure. A central kitchen area and breakout hub was also created to encourage casual interaction and enhance team culture.

The Unita team focused on retaining existing elements wherever possible. By adapting original structural elements and selectively refreshing finishes, the project delivered a high-impact transformation while significantly reducing material waste and environmental impact. The result is a workspace that has been designed to strengthen culture, improve connection and create a collaborative work environment with a focus on sustainability.
