For PS Health, the vision was clear: a sophisticated, technology-driven space that challenged the conventions of healthcare design.

PS Health Newstead QLD

Cameron + Co designed this medical fitout that borrowed from high-end retail rather than clinical clichés, with a monochromatic palette, strong horizontals and verticals, and tactile stone and leather finishes. Generous spaces and views to surrounding greenery establish a calm, contemporary atmosphere that redefines what a patient experience can be.

The original cost plan for the project landed at $1.3 million — well above budget. This is where Unita’s expertise in buildability and value engineering proved pivotal. Working closely with Cameron + Co, the team identified smart, buildable alternatives that retained the design intent while reducing costs.

Trust and collaboration underpinned the entire project, with Unita working alongside the client and designer every step of the way to ensure the vision translated seamlessly from design to delivery. The result is a clinic completed on time and on budget, with the atmosphere, detailing and patient experience exactly as intended.

With Unita it’s always a great outcome – not just with their team but with subcontractors too. That comes from the top. Matt as CEO sets that culture, and it trickles through the whole business.
