Australian Venue Co. engaged #Unita to deliver the construction and fit-out of the iconic Coomera Lodge Hotel, established in 1885. Works ranged from the demolition and removal of old buildings, intensive landscaping, and the construction of Coomera Lodge’s brand new pavilion and playground, marking this project as one of the largest QLD projects the team have ever executed.
With the project’s heritage nature, location and scale, some challenges included working in close proximity to a live edge drop into the Coomera river and rectifying the structural integrity of retained buildings. However, with Unita’s extensive experience working with heritage projects, the team delivered a show-stopping venue.
The 600+ seater venue is officially open and ready to welcome all bevvie lovers! With endless spaces to kick back and relax like its sports bar, beer garden and bistro, Coomera Lodge has officially been restored to its former glory.
