Barbeques Galore Pty Ltd has been supplying Australians with high-quality barbeques and expert advice since 1977. Today, with more than 80 stores throughout the country, Unita is thrilled to have delivered the brand’s first new-concept stores.
In a trend we’ve seen across the retail landscape, the store is a move away from the stereotypical “big box” retail format, instead focusing on customer experience by creating atmosphere and encouraging interaction with the merchandise on display – allowing customers to connect with the brand in an authentic and personal way.
The design concept, expertly executed by Gary McCartney and the team from McCartney Design, is centred around a large demonstration area known as “The Steakhouse” set up as an outdoor kitchen where the team can give real-time demonstrations.
With the new-concept broken down into two different formats, we’ve been able to flex our national construction capabilities by delivering the first “Express” store in Warringah Mall, NSW last month and the the brand’s 1000m2 flagship “Explorer” store in Everton Park, QLD soon after.
With glowing feedback from both the client and it’s customers, we’re thrilled to be playing our part in bringing to life a new era in this great Australian brand’s history.
