Situated in Highpoint Shopping Centre and delivered in six months by Unita, this mega-sized venue has established itself as the centre’s main attraction. Self-proclaimed as, “the home of unprofessional sports”, the 2000sqm space is packed with fun and games that everyone will love – and even better, the venue turns into an over 18’s affair after 8pm. The Funderdome draws on nostalgia through its aesthetic and features, like the old + new school arcade, karaoke lounge and a sports bar. With all these games, there’s no denying that your competitive side will come out, so make sure you bring your A-game!

1. Anyone up for a Day on the Green?

Minigolf has always been a crowd favourite, but why not shake it up and make it adult-friendly. Built by the Unita VIC team, Holey Moley at Crown Casino puts a grown-up take on your family-orientated minigolf course, Holey Moley features the “Caddy Shack” bar which is ready to top you up with your favourite drinks to sip alongside the venue’s 18-hole course. But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there! Holey Moley also joins onto Jukes karaoke bar so you can belt out your favourite tunes in a private booth with your best mates! Also delivered by Unita, Jukes’ retro and nostalgic fit-out teleports you back to the 70’s with endless mirror balls, wavey designed walls and psychedelic finishes. With these two entertainment giants next door to each other, you’re sure to have a memorable night.

1. The Best Seat in the House

Everyone loves a movie and popcorn + drink combo, especially now that the pandemic has eased and we’re finally able to return to cinemas. But there’s one cinema that is changing the game, and that’s Hoyts Karrinyup. In the lightspeed time of three months, Unita completed Hoyts’ latest WA cinema. Proclaimed as the state’s flagship cinema, it features WA’s first-ever Hoyts DBOX which gives film-fanatics a 4D cinematic experience. Even more, Hoyts Karrinyup also has a giant candy bar, cafe + wine bar and a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream shop to set you up for the ultimate movie-going experience.
