Designed by Collectivus and built by Unita, the client briefed the team to create a space that celebrated simplicity, was light and bright and accentuated the industrial-feel of the existing building.
The latest completion in our partnership with Christie Spaces is a one-of-a-kind boutique three level co-working space located in Queen Street, Brisbane. Designed by WMK Architecture, the space features multiple breakout spaces, 122 offices, 16 meeting rooms, 7 lounges, 3 libraries and 2 cafes!
Contemporary design has become a prevalent component in office design. With trends focusing on colleague collaboration, ergonomically friendly environments and outdoor inspired indoors it is becoming increasingly more important to invest in an interior that hosts such an inspiring environment.
Working closely with Tonic Architecture Unita’s Workplace team priced the Snelleman Tom Consulting Accountants & Financial Planners fit-out throughout the schematic planning stages to ensure the target budget could be achieved. Once signed off, Unita Commercial mobilised to build the high end detailed finishes over a nine week period, with practical completion just before Christmas.
During the various stages of this project through design and cost planning, invited tender and construction we experienced a high level of professionalism and attention to detail from the Unita team. It is clear that they are a team experienced in the delivery of commercial fit out projects. The management style and approach of the Unita team was one of collaboration and mutual respect for the client’s budget and our vision.
In 2016 Unita underwent a rebrand to reflect the evolving nature of the business. As part of this transformation, the business relocated to an office space at the new Trafalgar Lane development in Woolloongabba. Utilising the business’s in-house capabilities our team managed the complete project from conception to completion. The space reflects Unita’s innovative and diverse offering.
Located in an inner city suburb of Brisbane, this Ray White branch is sure to turn a few heads with its contemporary office design. The New Farm branch was a project that broke away from the traditional rules of office design. Unita worked closely with Channon Architects ensuring the space was designed to provide a more contemporary and interactive environment that also incorporated the traditional Ray White colours of yellow, white, black and grey.
Christie is the brand behind Brisbane’s most sophisticated co-workspace; Christie CoWork. A new concept for the Christie Office team, one that encourages collaboration and communication amongst their tenants. Located on 320 Adelaide Street, the 1600m2 space offers 64 private offices, 6 meeting rooms, break-out zones and a communal kitchen.
After a five year tenancy Technology One felt it was time to refresh their staff breakout area – colloquially named ‘The Village Green’. They wanted the newly designed space to help foster staff innovation, forward thinking design and encourage creativity all while providing an uplifting environment where employees could reconnect and unwind.
Working to a very tight frames, a competitive tender was completed where Unita worked closely with T&TT to work through value engineering solutions to assist in reducing the cost out of the project. We found Unita to be very flexible and responsive to our needs throughout the project, they were able to work with us on design changes. The quality of their work was up to standard, especially considering the tight timeframe that was given.
As one of Australia’s leading developers, Pellicano has a reputation based on an ongoing commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail. Unita was directly engaged to design and build their property management office for their new, multi stage development, South City Sqaure.
I am pleased to report that the experience in dealing with the Unita team, including Collectivus was very good. The process was smooth, reporting very detailed and the quality of the design and construction very good. I was very happy with the level of communication and commend the use of the thorough weekly report issued by the PM. This is a great snapshot on the status of the project and deals with the majority of questions that may be raised. The Hilton Worldwide is a global company operating more than 4,9000 hotels in 104 countries. Looking to update their Australian head office, Unita was engaged to complete the internal fit-out. Concrete elements contrast with splashes of bold colour and textures to create a minimalistic, industrial space.
